Children’s Ministries
Kids love it at Bethel! And Bethel loves kids! The following is a sampling of some of our children’s ministries:
Nursery
Loving childcare is offered during every service for babies and toddlers and a Mother’s Room is available for the privacy of nursing Moms. Every child is checked in at the door and all the toys and contents of the nurseries get cleaned every week.
Bethel Blvd. (Children’s Church)
Our Director of Children’s Ministries, David Stewart, along with his wife Amber, does an awesome job at overseeing a dedicated volunteer staff who offer worship on the level of kids. It’s biblically intense and insanely fun at the same time. It’s for kids age 3 to grade 3 during the second morning worship service.
Sunday School
In addition to the nursery, there are four classes offered for kids from toddlers through grade 6.
Missioneers & Children’s Choir
Sunday evenings at 6:00, kids in elementary ages are welcome to be part of either Missioneers or Children’s Choir depending on age and time of year.
AWANA
By far Bethel’s largest ministry in terms of volunteers, Awana is the Wednesday night kids ministry for preschoolers through sixth graders. In Awana, kids work their way through books, help parents, memorize scripture, play interactive games, and earn awards throughout the year. It runs with the Bentonville Public School calendar and features a lot of interesting nights such as “crazy hair night,” “favorite hat night,” etc.
