Even as christians we can get caught up in the pop and circumstance of Christmas and need to be reminded what Christmas is really about. Our King who was born to die. To celebrate this year we had a wonderful cantata the morning of the 19th. Lead by our music director, Michael Hollowell, we honored the birth of our Lord Jesus through song. The evening of the 19th our children’s program began with “Georgie’s Little Lambs” from our toddler class and concluded with a performance by our children’s church group. They also sang to honor not only the birth of our King but the death and resurrection of Christ as he paved the way for all sinners to come to know him as their Saviour. We have been so blessed here at Bethel in 2010. If you would like to join us in 2011 we will begin our journey through the Bible together on January 2nd. With our new pastor, Brother Mike McEuen, we will share a “Word from Heaven for 2011!”
