Recently our Keenagers made a trip to Branson to see the live show of Noah’s Ark. What an awesome show it was! With some live animals, great acting of biblical truths, and fellowship with other christians is a recipe for lots of fun. We are fortunate to have a wonderful bus driver that provides safe transportation for our group. Returning home in the rain storm was a real challenge for him, but he perservered. We are thankful to our Lord and Savior for these opportunities he provides for us to be together and ultimately the blessings we receive from it. KEENAGERS March Fellowship
Thursday March 17th our Keenagers had their monthly social. They celebrated St. Patricks Day by dressing in their best green and having an irish themed lunch. In addition to this the gentlemen were asked to make the desserts. The competition was very competitive but Charles Learned came out on top with his pineapple cake (pictured above). KEENagers Fall Fellowship
During our October get together we were quick to notice a new senior, Aunt Gertie. She was so sweet to bless us with her presence. She shared some of her coveted beauty secrets and even let it slip that she was a beauty queen in 1965. From the looks of these photos, I would say Gertie was having a pretty good time with the group. We watched a video by John Piper, “How to Plan for Retirement”.
Our KEENagers here at Bethel had a wonderful Christmas! The activities this month included a Christmas party at the Monte NE Chicken Restaurant, and a trip to Muskogee, OK to see the Christmas lights. The fellowships here at Bethel for our KEENagers are always filled with fun, laughter, and the sharing of God’s Word. If you would like to see more photos of our trip go to our photos page. Our next event will be Thursday, January 20th here in the fellowship hall. We will be hosting a SOUPer lunch with a guest speaker sharing her secrets to healthier cooking.
