Sunday
Sunday School @ 10:00 a.m. – At Bethel Baptist Church, Sunday School is a discipleship time dedicated for small groups to study God’s Word together. Spiritual development and growth for you and your family are Bethel’s principle concern.
We provide a vibrant teaching ministry for all ages with a very capable and competent staff of teachers who are supplied with the best of materials to present a thorough study of the Bible.
Morning Worship @ 10:45 a.m. – Worship services at Bethel center around the Word of God. We are convinced that the Bible contains real answers to life’s everyday questions. We preach the whole counsel of God and seek to guide you in key principles for living a full and abundant Christian life.
For the Easter season of 2013, Pastor Mike is leading a series of messages, centering on Jesus Christ as our King. We will consider the King’s glory, the King’s agony, the King’s death, and the King’s victory.
Jesus Christ deserves to reign as King in your heart and life. When He is Lord and Savior, you can begin to really enjoy the abundant Christian life.
Children’s Worship @ 10:45 am – Children’s Ministry Coordinator Gina Tynes leads this worship time for kids age 4 through grade 2. We have praise and worship time through music followed by a Bible lesson. After the lesson, we have a question and answer session, seeking to reinforce Biblical truths. When time permits, we also have a game time.
Evening Worship @ 6:00 p.m.– Pastor Mike is leading an exposition of the book of Joshua. The book of Joshua is not a biography of Joshua in the strictest sense. Actually, the key Person in the book of Joshua is God!
The practical message of the book of Joshua is that God keeps His promises. And that He enables His servants to succeed if we will trust Him and obey His Word.
The spiritual message is that God has a rich inheritance for His children now! And we can claim it by faith.
God is still the God of wonders. And He is still calling us to be a sanctified people who will trust and obey Him. Our tomorrows can be exciting and wonderful if we are all that God wants us to be!
Wednesday
Awana (Kids) @ 6:30 pm (Sept. – May) – Awana focuses on sharing the gospel with kids through Scripture memorization, awards for work outside the classroom, and competitive games. Special nights and events are scattered throughout the school year.
TURNING POINT Student Ministry Bible Study @ 6:30 p.m. – Youth Pastor Jeremy Young and his wife Kristie lead this teen ministry. Each week they meet together for fellowship time, followed by deep, enriching study of God’s Word.
Adult Bible Study @ 7:00 p.m.–Pastor Mike leads an intercessory prayer service followed by Bible lessons on various themes.
Pastor Mike is currently leading a study of the Gospel of John.
“And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book: But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name”(Jo20:30-31).
John wrote to prove that Jesus is the “Messiah” Who came in fulfillment of all the Old Testament types and prophecies. He also proved that Jesus is divine and is in this unique sense “the Son of God.”
John’s theme: Jesus is the Christ! Believe and live!!
