Here at the church office, we’ve been calling people and checking in on news stories… and praying. We’re praying hard for families affected by this current economic crisis that we find ourselves in. It’s one of the reasons we are aggressively giving away shoes and are in the planning stages of launching a food ministry as well. We want to help, we want to serve, but most importantly we want our community to know, we’re praying!

He has chosen to do most of His work through prayer. In some ways, He has made himself subservient to the prayers of His people. And certainly He has conditioned a good portion of His blessing upon our willingness to pray. ~ David Jeremiah, Prayer: The Great Adventure
